Recent Benedictine graduate to play forward

KANSAS CITY (January 12, 2018) – The Kansas City Comets announced today the addition of Adam James to the roster ahead of the weekend’s MASL schedule. Per team and league policies, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

James comes to the Comets after a successful four-year stint at Benedictine College in Atchison, KS. While at Benedictine, James showed a knack for scoring, tallying 27 goals in his career. His recently completed senior season was his most successful. James was named 2nd team NAIA All-American as he led his team in goals (16), points (38) and points per game (2.0).

James will be available for selection by Head Coach Kim Roentved in the match against the Harrisburg Heat on Saturday, January 13th. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. CT as the Comets honor our Armed Forces with the Glad Military Appreciation Night.
