Veteran forward scored five goals last week in team’s road victory

KANSAS CITY (January 12, 2018) – The Major Arena Soccer League announced today that Comets forward Kiel Williams was named the Week 11 MASL Player of the Week. This is Williams’ first Player of the Week award and the first for a Comets player this season.

The MASL Player of the Week is determined by a combination of votes received from fans and MASL team personnel.

Williams was a big part of the Comets comeback last week against the St Louis Ambush. He scored five goals for the Comets, including what ended up being the game winner with a little over a minute left in regulation.

The Comets are hopeful that Williams can keep up his scoring pace when they face the Harrisburg Heat on Saturday, January 13th at home. The team will be honoring our Armed Forces at the match and celebrating Glad Military Appreciation Night. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. CT from the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena.

Tickets for Glad Military Appreciation Night can be purchased here.
