Comets Indoor Soccer


KANSAS CITY (Oct. 29, 2016) – Ahead of tonight’s Home Opener, the Kansas City Comets announced the signing of defenders Ignacio “Nacho” Flores and Brian Harris. Both players are eligible for selection in tonight’s match.

Flores, a defender from Santiago, Chile is set to make his professional debut with the Comets this season. He spent the previous three seasons at Park University where he started every game he played with the Pirates.

Harris is one of four players who have been with the team since it relaunched in 2010. The veteran defender earned his spot with after making a name for himself at the team’s original tryouts. Since then he has earned numerous honors, including the 2014 MISL Championship Series MVP.

When asked about rejoining the team, Harris said, “It took a little longer than I think we expected it to, but I’m really glad to be back with the team and excited for the upcoming season.”
